(five) all Party members must put the public interests of the people, that is, the interests of the party, on their own private interests...... All egoistic people refused to sacrifice themselves for the people, can not be a communist. (six) in the revolutionary struggle, all Party members must be brave and resolute, unable to retreat in a serious and difficult environment, and can not surrender to the enemy...... Otherwise, you can't be a communist. (seven) all Party members must serve the people and build a good relationship between the party and the people...... People who can't do this can't be communists. (eight) all Party members in order to be able to better and better fulfill the above, must work hard to learn, so that they know more about Marx's doctrine of Marxism, the thought of Mao Zedong, so that their consciousness to improve......
These eight standards, after finishing and modification, was written into the resolution on the reorganization of the party's grassroots organizations, the party in charge of the national power of the party's basic requirements. On this basis, the central government has put forward the "ten standards" of the Communist Party members and become the norm of the Communist party.
